Fine Arts Fair
This year's Fine Arts Fair will be held on April 26, 2018. Come join us to watch students showcase their talents!
All parents are members of our Parent Advisory Committee. Join us on May 7 as we discuss important maters concerning our school. This is your opportunity as parents to have a voice in your child's education.

Early Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Open House
Do you have a child that is kindergarten age? Join us on November 23 at 6:30pm to learn more about our kindergarten program. Registrations will also be accepted on this day.
Dig up your favourite costume, or better yet, make one! On October 31 come to school dressed up. In the afternoon we will have a costume parade, followed by special activities in each room.
Drive By Breakfast
Come by the Family Connections Centre for a delicious muffin, a hot coffee, and a copy of the Stony Plain reporter. All we ask is a donation to Ronald McDonald House.
Please dress your child in a shirt of the corresponding colour for the picture.
First Day of School
We look forward to seeing everyone as school starts up for the year on August 31.
Last Day of School
It's the last day of classes! (We dismiss the students at 11:40am)
Join us between 7 and 9am on June 3 for some pancakes, sausages, beans and hash browns. We will also serve some coffee that will put hair on your chest (cowboy style).

This Sunday the Tour of Alberta is coming through Stony Plain and Spruce Grove. Make sure you have an SML cow bell to cheer the cyclists on to victory.
School Supply Lists

Final Chapel & Awards Service
Join us at 10:00am at the church as we have our final chapel service and our awards ceremony.
Final Exams begin on June 15 and end June 18. Jr. High students are required to leave the school after they have completed their exams.
On June 5 we will spend the morning in our house teams participating in a number of fun and challenging sports events. At 11:40 PAC will feed us a great lunch.
Come and see many of our students display their talents in our annual Talent Show. Doors open at 6:00pm.
Pick Up Meat Orders
On Monday everyone that ordered from Calahoo Meats needs to come and pick up their orders from the school. It should arrive at the school around 2:30pm. (We do not have the freezer space to store items at the school.)
Don't forget: class photos will be taken on Monday. If you would also like an individual photo of your child, or photos of your child's siblings, then those can also be taken on this day.
Tickets are now available for this year's silent auction. Wait until you see some of the items that we have for this year! Thank you to those that have made donations to this great event.
Come out to the church on April 24 and listen to our students recite the poems they have learned by heart.
Grades 1-6 at Whispering Waters
In the afternoon the Grades 1-6 classes will walk over to Whispering Waters to sing for the residents.
Jump Rope for Heart
Can we duct tape Mr. Skoye to the wall? If we raise $3000 we can! On April 16 from 1-3pm the grade 1-6 classes will be in the gym participating in this great fundraiser.
Don't forget to wear your pyjamas, and bring a stuffy for good measure.
Come out and see all the hard work the students have put into their projects for this year's Bible Fair.
Our boys have made it to the second round of the playoffs. Come and cheer them on to victory when they play their next game at home. Go Saints!
Parent Teacher Interviews (Friday)
Find some time to pop in on the evening of Feb 19, or the morning of Feb 20 to meet with your child's teacher.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper (at church)
Come on out as we have one last meal together before the season of Lent begins. This pancake supper will be held at the church and the proceeds will go to help bring the Gospel to the people of Hall Lake in northern Saskatchewan.

Come out this week to Muir Lake School to cheer our Saints onto victory. Games start around 4pm. Go Saints!

Wear your silliest socks today. If you don't feel you have socks that are silly enough, then attach some items to regular socks. How silly can you make them?
Basketball Home Games
Come and cheer on the Saints to victory! Our girls play against West End first and when that game is done our boys will take to the courts. Go Saints!
Last Day of School
At 11:40 on Friday the students will be dismissed for the Christmas break.
School Advent Service
Every year we get an opportunity to hear the students tell us the Christmas story.
K-6 Sing in the Worship Service
Our Kindergarten to Grade Six classes will sing in the 10:30am worship service.
This is a great fundraiser to help us purchase a new flag pole for the school.
Grade Six Handbell Choir at Zion, Golden Spike
Our grade six class will be playing the handbells for the 11am Sunday service at Zion Lutheran, Golden Spike.
K-6 Classes Sing at Whispering Waters
At 10am our younger grades will entertain the residents of Whispering Waters with the songs that will be sung at our School Advent Service.
Kindergarten Registration and Open House
If you have a child that is ready for Kindergarten you can register them at the Open House on November 19 at 7pm.
Both our girls and boys teams are competing in the championship final this Friday. Come and cheer them on to victory. The girls play at 5:00pm and the boys at 6:30pm. Both games will be played at Memorial Composite High School.
Boys and Girls Volleyball Playoffs
Come cheer on the Saints as they begin their playoff run on Wednesday in our gym. The boys play at 4pm, and the girls will begin their game when the boys has ended.
