All parents are members of our Parent Advisory Committee. Join us on May 9 as we discuss important maters concerning our school. This is your opportunity as parents to have a voice in your child's education.

Elementary Ski Days
On Feb 26 and March 21 grades 1-6 hit the slopes at Rabbit Hill.
The teachers become the students as they spend two days learning how to refine their teaching skills.
Parent Teacher Interviews
It's the most wonderful time of the year!... er... It's Parent Teacher Interviews!! Please join us on a first come/first served bases Thursday, February 7th from 5-9pm, and Friday, February 8th 9am-12pm.
Rabbit Hill Skiiing
The grade 1-6 classes will be hitting the slopes at Rabbit Hill.
Mid Term Exams
Midterms for Grades 5-9 will take place from January 24 to January 29.
Ski Trip Bottle Drive
Those students going on the Jr. High Ski Trip have an opportunity to shrink the cost of the trip by helping with the annual bottle drive. We meet at the school at noon.
We wish you a Merry Christmas as we break to celebrate the birth of Christ, given to the world to save us from our sin.
Children's Christmas Service
Join us at 6:30pm at the church when the students of our school will tell us the Christmas message in story and song.
Join us at 1pm as we head downtown to bring the joyful Christmas message to the people of Stony Plain.
PAC Christmas Luncheon
PAC puts on a great turkey dinner for our school community. Come out and enjoy the feast!
Kindergarten Registration and Open House
If you have a child that is ready for Kindergarten you can register them at the Open House on November 29 from 6:30-7:30pm.
Throw on your favourite Jersey or team T-shirt, and let's have some friendly competition! If no jersey, wear your SML gear!

Kindergarten Open House
Do you have a child that is kindergarten age? Join us on November 23 at 6:30pm to learn more about our kindergarten program. Registrations will also be accepted on this day.
Dig up your favourite costume, or better yet, make one! On October 31 come to school dressed up. In the afternoon we will have a costume parade, followed by special activities in each room.
Drive By Breakfast
Come by the Family Connections Centre for a delicious muffin, a hot coffee, and a copy of the Stony Plain reporter. All we ask is a donation to Ronald McDonald House.
Please dress your child in a shirt of the corresponding colour for the picture.
First Day of School

PJs and a cuddly stuffy, all day long! Does it get any better than this?
Join us to cheer on both our boys and girls teams as they compete for the league championships.

This Sunday the Tour of Alberta is coming through Stony Plain and Spruce Grove. Make sure you have an SML cow bell to cheer the cyclists on to victory.

Final Chapel & Awards Service
Join us at 10:00am at the church as we have our final chapel service and our awards ceremony.
On June 5 we will spend the morning in our house teams participating in a number of fun and challenging sports events. At 11:40 PAC will feed us a great lunch.
Don't forget: class photos will be taken on Monday. If you would also like an individual photo of your child, or photos of your child's siblings, then those can also be taken on this day.
Grades 1-6 at Whispering Waters
In the afternoon the Grades 1-6 classes will walk over to Whispering Waters to sing for the residents.
Jump Rope for Heart
Can we duct tape Mr. Skoye to the wall? If we raise $3000 we can! On April 16 from 1-3pm the grade 1-6 classes will be in the gym participating in this great fundraiser.
Our boys have made it to the second round of the playoffs. Come and cheer them on to victory when they play their next game at home. Go Saints!
